1. This photograph is a snapshot of a bus in downtown LA. Alleman says it is an "urban landscape".
2. I think the photographer's intention was to capture an event that happens in every city and make it specific to LA. The bus is specific to LA because it says Los Angleles and also because buildings of that city reflect in the window.
3. The photographer has created an emphasis on the front windows of the bus by showing the buildings in them. Overall the front of the bus is the center of the picture as it is moving forward from everything else.
4. Technical matters of reflection and that the photograph is in black and white help the image. The photograph being in black and white allows you to see the shape of the buildings in the window without a glare on it.
5. The graphic elements of line an perspective are important in this image. The perspective is most likely from someone standing on the sidewalk looking at the bus. The lines of the bus draw your eyes to the front of the bus.
6. Besides what is immediately evident in the photograph of a bus in LA the image also reveals some of the buildings in LA and also the motion of other traffic in the city. The image also reveals nature in the city by the tree.
7. Emotionally the photograph gives the impact of excitement and curiosity. The buildings make you wonder what is inside them and where the bus is going.
8. This photograph relates to the other photographs in the same work because it gives an interesting view in the city which he calls an "urban landscape".
